I try never to refuse anything related to fundraising for foundations, organizations that
benefit our service personnel, children's causes, retired people, combating illness,
or anything of a spiritual nature. That's my first priority. ~Daniel

I was a funeral director for many of the 9-11 funerals you sang at during the worst time in USA history. Then and now, I will never forget your warm, beautiful voice, helping the families that were hurting so bad. You brought dignity and respect to a horrible situation. To acknowledge you in this letter is the least I can do in return for all you have done for the families, and to let you know what a dramatic impact you have had on the lives of many, perhaps without even realizing it. God bless you always, Roger Lee from Staten Island.

November 2012 Hurricane relief efforts

The
Steven Siller/Tunnel To Towers foundation has set up a relief station
outside their offices on Staten Island. I encourage anyone who wants to
help out in this crisis to come down and volunteer, or go online and
donate. I believe in this foundation and am doing all I can to be a part
of this relief effort. At my upcoming concerts those who wish will have
a place to leave a donation with me. Also I will be accepting donations
by mail sent to me at: Daniel Rodriguez, PO box 90690, Brooklyn New
York, 11209. Please make checks payable to "T2T Hurricane Sandy Relief
Fund". Tunnel to Towers pledges that 100% of gross funds collected will
be used for those adversely affected. Daniel

Message from Daniel:
Dear Friends, I am back from my trip to Kandahar and I feel like a different person. It was definitely an experience of a lifetime and I will never forget my new found friends, Sgt. Andrews whose bright outlook and outgoing personality, enhanced our stay in Afghanistan. I also want to thank Sgt. Osan, Major Anderson, Col Cok, The Kandahar Fire Brigade and so many more.. They are heroes with honor and humility.
Our first day, we flew from Dubai and landed in Bagram, on the way to Kandahar. It was an eye opener to know that we have been flying over Iran and were now landing at a base just a stones throw from Pakistan. It was recommended that we not leave the plane, and soon enough we were off again on our way Kandahar.
We landed at dusk and were escorted single file to the main building on the airstrip called "Talaban's Last Stand" Named for the last stronghold of the Talaban. We were gathered in this concrete building that was riddled with bullet holes and almost immediately given instruction on the procedure for an RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade) or "Rocket Attack". Informed by our host that they had two such attacks that very day, we knew that we were not in Kansas any more.
Our Home for the next two days was surrounded by 15 foot concrete walls as is every building on the massive base. Outside of every building and scattered everywhere are concrete bunkers and sand bag reinforced bunkers as a refuge for rocket attacks. That being said, the thought of attacks is farthest from the minds of our friends. It becomes commonplace and after the alert, its life as usual.
In our short 2 day stay in Kandahar we were taken on a whirlwind tour of the base and so many of the supporting teams of people that make up this small city in the desert. From the fire brigade to the signal core to the hospitals, USO and stress clinics, it is an amazing team of different nationalities and professionals all working together to do an impossible job in a most hostile place.
I have come to a new understanding and appreciation of our service men and women, the Afghan people and the radical group of extremists that threaten the balance. Daniel "Building Homes for America's Bravest"

Before Sinise even took the stage, another rousing ovation was given former New York City police officer Daniel Rodriguez.
The cheers reached a crescendo as Rodriguez sang “America the Beautiful” as flag artist Scott LoBaido speed-painted an American flag onstage that was auctioned off to a member of the audience for $5,000.

Benefit concert for families of Pike River miners, Greymouth, New Zealand

2008 Holland Christmas tour
A portion of CD titled "I Believe" go to benefit "Hart voor Kinderen."
"A portion of proceeds go to making a home and family environment for orphans in South Africa. During the concert series we gave CD's to those who signed up to support "Heart for Children" and we were successful. The support we received from patrons at the concerts will make it possible to build 3 houses in South Africa that will house up to 6 orphans and a matron each. The matron will be the care giver and the organization will be a partner in the development and education of the orphans and, with Gods help, they will grow to become a new generation of educated leaders in a land that holds many of our worlds treasures. ~Daniel
